Congratulations to Camryn Skaggs of Rudder FFA from James Earl Rudder High School!

Camryn was selected as the Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Brazos County Ag Student of the YEAR! What an honor it was to present her with this recognition and a $500 award this morning.

Camryn has served as both a District and Chapter FFA President, competed in state speaking events, and attended numerous leadership camps and conventions. She has also played a key role in helping secure sponsorships and raise funding for Rudder FFA. In addition, Camryn traveled to Japan as part of the Texas Youth Livestock & Agriculture 4-H Ambassadors program, where she advocated for agriculture on an international level.

We are proud to have students like Camryn serving in Brazos County and honored to have her represent Texas Farm Bureau Insurance. Her dedication, leadership, and passion for agriculture make her an outstanding representative of our community.

It was a true treat to be a part of this year’s Brazos County Youth Livestock Show Special Edition Show! Our team had a great time cheering on these showmen and were blown away by the student volunteers and people who make this show possible.
