Cool new experience with Blue Bean in Ankeny last week with their Latinx flight. I’m much more accustomed to flights consisting of adult beverages, so a workday friendly flight was a fun! Also walked through their coworking area, they’ve got a great space there for anyone looking for office space.

This is an interesting newer offering from United National Life, called Caregiver Shield. It's designed to provide financial assistance to those diagnosed with terminal illnesses, allowing them to pay for in-home health care and stay in their home longer. It pays a daily cash benefit to the insured, once the insured receives a terminal diagnosis.

We haven't had much of a chance to use this product yet as it's a fairly new product for UNL, but it could be interesting to discuss if you may someday be financially responsible for the in-home healthcare of yourself or a loved one.

Hello! This is James Rhodes, founder and owner of Redbird Investments, and I'm excited to finally announce the launch of Redbird Insurance! My goal for this company is to grow into a one-stop-shop for all your financial needs, where you can walk in the door with a notebook full of questions ranging from insurance to taxes to real estate, and have a team built and ready to handle any issue you may have. Much of the confusion surrounding personal finance centers around all of the moving parts and little intricacies that can make your own financial situation messy and difficult to fully understand. My hope is that, by bringing great people trained in a variety of financial areas together under one roof, it will simplify personal finance and create more clarity as our clients pursue their financial goals.

As a licensed insurance agent with several years of insurance industry experience, I've decided to start the journey towards that ultimate goal by launching the insurance arm of Redbird Investments. This is an independent agency, meaning we're able to work with many different insurance carriers to find the products and coverages that work best for you. We'll help you determine the coverage you need, then do the shopping for you to find those ideal coverages.

I'd love for this to be an informational page for people to become more confident in their financial decisions.
