🚨 **Screen Share, Beware!**
Scammers are always looking for new ways to access your personal and financial information. One tactic starts with a text claiming there’s suspicious activity on your bank account.
You call the number provided, and the person on the other end claims to work for your bank. They may ask you to switch the call to FaceTime, share your screen and log in to your online banking account so they can “help.”
⚠️ **Don’t do it.**
Sharing your screen can allow a scammer to see sensitive information, including your login credentials, account numbers and security codes.
Help protect yourself:
🔒 If you receive an unexpected call or text about your account, contact your bank directly using a trusted, official phone number—not the number provided in the message.
🔒 Never share your screen with someone who unexpectedly contacts you, especially while accessing your bank account.
🔒 Be suspicious of unusual requests. Your bank should never need to watch you log in to your account through FaceTime or another screen-sharing app.
A little caution can go a long way in protecting your financial information.
