We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative, computer, operational and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs, and managing our company’s general administrative activities.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Part-Time Operations Assistant to support our team's daily activities, scheduling, and administrative needs. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth office operations and provide excellent internal and external communication.

Key Responsibilities:
• Answer & Direct Calls
• Manage administrative tasks, including billing, filing, scheduling and data entry.

RIG is looking for a motivated individual to join our team in the role of Executive & Sales Assistant working primarily with our management team.

About the position:
- Position is entry level with opportunities to advance professionally and financially for people with a career & goal oriented mindset. Selling and cold calling is not required. Insurance experience is not required.
- Insurance isn’t all the same. We are a niche agency dealing exclusively with Trucking and Transportation clients. We function in a technical, consultative, advisory role rather than a high-pressure cold-calling auto-dialing one.

Duties:

2. Networking: Building relationships with underwriters, clients and co-workers is crucial. Making & taking phone calls, sending emails and occasional in-person meetings with clients and business partners are important parts of the job. Communication is king.
3. Prioritizing: Multitasking may be the most demanding part of this role. Being able to communicate your needs and deal with deadline pressure are part of our success.
4. Support: Helping the team “behind-the-scenes where needed; engage in business development projects. Data Entry is a big part.

Qualifications:
1. A willingness to learn.
2. Be Coachable: able to accept constructive criticism if necessary.
3. An understanding of Adobe, Word, Excel, Publisher & Outlook (and/or willingness to learn).
4. Professional/strong verbal and written communications skills. Solid proofreading.
5. Flexible, be willing to adapt and change gears as situations and opportunities arise.
