I know a lot of you have been hearing rumors about just how messed up the president’s actions have been. Including how badly he has mangled YOUR benefits. So I wanted to look at exactly what he has passed in regards to your medicare and medicaid benefits

EO 14148 INITIAL RESCISSIONS OF HARMFUL EXECUTIVE ORDERS AND ACTIONS
This rescinded a ton of Bidens Executive orders. I’m going to list what the EO’s are and what they say in section 2 of each which is what outlines what is to be done or in this case was to be done and see how it really affects you. Each of these are direct quotes from the EO but not the whole quote for brevity.

lower cost-sharing for commonly used drugs and support value-based payment that promotes high-quality care. The Secretary shall, not later than 90 days after the date of this order

As you can see all of the actions outlined were already done. Say what you want about the actions anyone telling you he has done anything different up to now needs to do their own research. Each of these Executive orders is public record and a quick google search was all it took to determine the truth of the matter. Was it political grandstanding… oh yes. But remember law can only be changed by congress. The Inflation reduction act can not be EO’d away regardless of how you feel about it.

Working from home today, knocking out all of my annual certifications this week. As I grind through AHIP again, watching all these folks talk about either the woes of advantage plans, or how they are the greatest thing since sliced bread, just sickens me. Much like ones genuine political leanings, the answer should be 100% "It depends". If there isn't nuance there would be only one.
