Big Medicare update 👀

CMS recently announced a new temporary program that may allow eligible Medicare beneficiaries to access certain GLP-1 medications for around $50/month beginning in 2026.

With so many questions surrounding Ozempic, Wegovy, and other GLP-1 medications, we put together a quick overview of what’s changing and what Medicare beneficiaries should know moving forward.

Spam calls and Medicare scams are getting OUT OF CONTROL lately!

Between robocalls, spoofed phone numbers, and scammers pretending to represent insurance companies or Medicare plans, it is getting harder and harder to tell what is legitimate anymore.

We’re proud to share that Malia recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet directly with legislators and industry leaders to advocate for the health insurance industry and, most importantly, for the clients we serve every day!

During her time on Capitol Hill, she joined fellow brokers to discuss current legislation, regulatory changes, and the real-life impact these policies have on families, seniors, and small businesses. She also had the opportunity to connect with Idaho’s own Representative Russ Fulcher, alongside other Idaho brokers, to advocate for responsible policy, market stability, and continued access to quality coverage.

Staying engaged at the national level helps ensure that real-world client experiences are part of the conversation when decisions are being made. It allows us to remain informed, proactive, and prepared for changes that may affect your coverage, your benefits, and your options.
