Did you know that half of our state's farm income comes from family farmers raising chickens? In 2025 alone, Maryland produced 4.7 billion pounds of chicken and over 750 million eggs. From providing high-quality protein to supporting thousands of local jobs, our poultry community keeps Maryland moving.

In response to Governor Wes Moore’s “MeatOut Day” on Friday, March 20, 2026, we’re encouraging the agricultural community to support the “Eat MOORE Meat” campaign. 🥩

The Miller’s Farm in Harford County is already joining in by offering a special on their meat this Friday to encourage the community to support local producers. We’d love to see other farms participate by sharing their own specials and helping promote the campaign.
