I have received a few inquiries lately about writing appraisals for insurance carriers so want to be fully transparent. I do write appraisals for insurance carriers, homeowners, AND business owners. It might appear that I only work for homeowners or business owners but that's because insurance companies don't give testimonials or referrals. I remember working for an insurance carrier and the last thing that I wanted to do after delegating responsibilities to a claims partner was filling out a customer service survey or writing a reference/testimonial. By accepting appraisal assignments from both sides, I gain valuable perspective and maintain an objectivity that keeps me impartial throughout the appraisal process. I often see appraisers that are not objective and it taints the entire dispute resolution process. I have and will continue to exercise my right to recuse myself from an assignment if I sense that my objectivity is in jeopardy. As always, thank you to my current and future clients!

Happy to help Denise through the Property Damage Appraisal process. After her insurance carrier and the opposing appraiser inspected her home 3 times and denied her siding replacement, we took it to an Umpire and received a fair and favorable award.
