Don't let a delicious Thanksgiving dinner turn into a disastrous call to 911. When frying a turkey, safety should be your top priority.

Here are some tips to keep in mind:

🍗 Fry Outdoors: Always fry your turkey outdoors, away from buildings, decks, and other flammable materials.

⚠️ Use a Table: Place your fryer on a sturdy, level table.

🛢️ Watch Your Oil: Use the correct amount of oil. Too much can cause a dangerous overflow.

🚫💧 No Water, Please: If a fire starts, DO NOT use water. Use a fire extinguisher or cover the pot.

👀 Stay Alert: Never leave the fryer unattended.

Stay alert, respect the fryer, and keep the holiday in the kitchen — not the ER.
