Happy New Year 🎊 to all of my great clients!

2023- Insured my very first horse and wrote barely $20k in premium.

2024- Crossed over $100k in premium and insured my first farm and ranch! (Growth is sometimes small)

2025- We exceeded goal expectations in so many ways! Some of these included opening my own branch office of LBK Insurance Agency and writing over $500k in equine premium!

2026- Looking forward to continued growth and expansion for both my current and future clients!

🐴 ANNOUNCING 🐴

Effective 11/26/25, Western-use horses in all states may be bound without an EHV exclusion when the attached EHV-1/EHM form is fully completed, evaluated as satisfactory, and accompanied by a satisfactory statement of condition/ application, or hip page (for auction purchases).

This form will be required for all new Western-use submissions, any request for additional medical coverages, and when adding horses to existing policies.

A recorded temperature must be provided for each horse at the time the form is completed. A temperature of 101.5 or below is required for binding.

⛔️CLIENTS/ EQUINE OWNERS please see the NEWEST UPDATE. ⛔️

We are now getting a 90 day exclusion put into place. We have confirmed that most all other carriers are doing similar and some are writing no new business for the set time.

PLEASE CALL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS!

As we continue to monitor the recent EHV-1 situation and its potential impact on Western disciplines, we are implementing an updated, temporary underwriting measure.

Effective immediately, ALL Western-use horses in ALL states will require an EHV-1 exclusion on NEW business and on any additions of horses to existing policies.

The exclusion will read:
“EHV/EHM. This exclusion will expire 90 days from the inception date of this policy.”

This update replaces our previous guidance that applied only to Oklahoma and Texas. The updated 90-day exclusion applies to all Western uses nationwide, including but not limited to:

Roping
Barrel Racing
Reining / Cutting
Pleasure
Other Western performance or speed events
Additional underwriting restrictions remain in effect:

No value increases will be permitted on Western-use horses during this period.

No midterm additions of Major Medical will be allowed on Western-use horses.
