We’ve really enjoyed seeing the murals pop up around Putnam County - they add so much character and life to walls that might otherwise be bland or a little forgotten.

AUDITIONS: THE SECRET GARDEN 🌿

Putnam County Playhouse is holding auditions for The Secret Garden, directed by Shelly McFadden!

📅 Sunday, March 29 at 3 p.m.
📅 Monday, March 30 at 7 p.m.
📍 Michael McClaine Rehearsal Center at the Barn

Those auditioning should be prepared to:

Sing 16 bars of a song that shows off your voice
Read from the script
Participate in a dance audition
This production will feature a cast of 21 characters with no chorus, including roles for adults and younger performers who appear as adults: Mary, Archibald, Lily, Colin, Martha, Dickon, Neville, Ben, Mrs. Medlock, Mrs. Winthrop, Rose, Captain Lennox, the Fakir, the Ayah, and more. There are two children in the cast, Mary (stage age 10-12) and Colin (stage age 10-12). The role of Dickon will be cast as a teen.

Based on the classic novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, this Tony Award–winning musical tells a powerful story of renewal, healing, and hope.

According to Punxsutawney Phil, winter was supposed to be over yesterday!! According to Larry the Leprechaun, it's still winter on St Paddy's Day!!

May the wind still carry winter’s bite,
