When I was recently asked how I feel about being an Agency Owner with American Family Insurance, my answer was simple: PROUD.
The insurance industry has been on a wild ride for the past few years. Through it all, I’m especially thankful for the clients, team members and community members who have continued to place their trust in us.
We all know rising costs, severe weather and changing conditions have had an impact on insurance. But one thing hasn’t changed: our agency’s commitment to helping our clients protect what matters most, and the strength of the company standing behind us.
At a district meeting yesterday, we talked in depth about weather claims and the ways American Family Insurance has responded in hard-hit communities — with rapid catastrophe support, local presence and help when customers need it most.
Many communities across Wisconsin, including Wausau, Ringle, Neenah and Menasha, have recently experienced devastating weather. Moments like these remind us why having the right support matters.
Insurance can feel expensive, and not all coverage is the same. What matters most is knowing the company behind your policy will be there when you need them.
I encourage everyone who reads this to talk to people affected by these storms. Ask them how their claim was handled. Ask whether they felt supported when they needed help most.
What I see on a regular basis is this: yes, we are an insurance company, but we are different.
