🎉 Sampson County 2025 – 3rd Annual Health Fair Was a Huge Success! 🎉
Hundreds showed up for a day of health, wellness, and fun! Hosted by Eve Black and Associates, Inc. and proudly sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC, this event featured:
✅ Over 40 vendor booths
✅ Tai Chi class
✅ Bingo with prizes
✅ Onsite blood drive
✅ Free health screenings & giveaways

Celebrating the 3rd Annual Sampson County Senior Health & Community Fair
Charles Perdue, Regional Sales Executive for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, addresses attendees at the Sampson County Senior Health & Community Fair. He reflects on the original vision behind the event—one that he and Eve Black Venters shared: to create a meaningful space where seniors could access vital health resources, connect with their community, and feel supported, valued, and celebrated.
Three years ago, Charles and Eve put their heads together to bring that vision to life—and today, it has become a thriving tradition.
The 3rd Annual Sampson County Senior Health & Community Fair was another great success—bringing together community partners, health resources, and neighbors to support the well-being of our senior population.
This year’s event also helped raise important funds to support Sampson County Senior Services, ensuring continued care and resources for our aging community.
A heartfelt thank you to Charles, our dedicated volunteers, generous donors and sponsors, and the incredible office staff who made today possible.
And a special thank you to Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina for proudly sponsoring this event and helping bring our shared vision to life.
