Many Anderson County Family Medical Clinics and doctors are no longer taking AARP United Health Care Complete plans beginning January 1st 2016. Many Medicare members will not be able to change their current plan after Open Enrollment ends on December 7th.

If you or your family member need to find out if your doctors will continue to take your plan after January 1st, contact your doctors office.

Beginning today, CMS will provide a 60-day SEP to any member of a household who is a victim of domestic abuse, including unmarried and dependent victims within the household, as well as victims of spousal abandonment, including their dependents. In 2014, the FFM provided an SEP from March 31 to May 30 and today’s guidance says the qualifying event will be available permanently as an “exceptional circumstance” SEP. The guidance says SBMs similarly may determine such an individual and his or her dependents eligible for a 60-day special enrollment period. ...Call me if this applies to you...865-660-5510
