'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the town,
Folks were celebrating, with spirits renowned.
But for some, the cheer led to choices unwise,
Landing them swiftly before the judge's eyes.
The police were busy, patrolling the streets,
Dealing with revelers who'd forgotten their retreats.
Drunk drivers, brawlers, and a few petty thieves,
All hoping for bail beneath the green Christmas leaves.
The phones at the station began to all ring,
"Can I make one phone call? What will this charge bring?"
That's when a hero, though lacking a sleigh,
Steps in to ensure they see Christmas Day.
He's dressed not in red, but in business attire,
Ready to help them escape from the fire.
With paperwork ready, and a heart full of haste,
To get clients home, no moment to waste.
He posts the required bond, with a twist of his head,
Knowing clients are better at home and in bed.
"Now, Dasher! Now, Dancer!" the officer might say,
But the bondsman just hopes they'll be home right away.
So to all who are free, and enjoying the light,
Remember the bondsman who works through the night.
Stay safe, be responsible, avoid any plight,
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night !!!!
