Well...it's been quite a ride! Last night, Thursday September 30, 2026, the AIB/NYLTCB team - past and present! - got together to give our founder and Managing Partner, Kevin Johnson, a proper send off as he ventures into the next phase of his life. Kevin officially retired yesterday after an amazing 50+ year career in the insurance and financial services business!

Always one to favor gifts to deserving organizations rather than to himself for special occasions, the AIB/NYLTCB staff got together and made a group donation of $1165 (not counting a number of gifts some folks made directly) to the organization closest to Kevin's heart, the Double H Ranch. Alison Wilcox, CEO of the Ranch was on hand to accept the donation and to add her congratulations to Kevin as well. As many of you know, Kevin is a long time Board member of the Ranch, which provides amazing services to critically ill children throughout the year.

Heartfelt congratulations Kevin for all you have done to not only create this wonderful agency, as well as being a friend, valued colleague and mentor to so many of us!

It was great to have so many current team members - and even a number of former and retired team members - there to celebrate the occasion.

Enjoy your retirement. We are all confident Kevin's wife Karen, as well as his sons Brian (who is also on the AIB/NYLTCB team) and Mark will find plenty to keep him busy!

That's a wrap! After 6 cities in the last 2 weeks, we wrapped up our AIB LTC Carrier Days visiting Syracuse, NY, Harrisburg and Philadelphia, PA. It was a strong reminder of how valuable it is to get out and get face to face with our valued producers, and the vital role that strong carrier relationships have in our business.

A special thank you to fellow Integrity family members Ritter Insurance Marketing, especially Michael Baker, Brenda Salyer and the entire Ritter More Than Medicare team, for hosting us for our 2 PA visits.

Our privilege to share the stage with Shawn Britt from Nationwide Financial this week at the Pierro, Connor & Strauss, LLC in Albany. Our President Bob Vandy and Shawn discussed the important of not believing the "noise" that is out there regarding LTC Insurance, the misconceptions that persist and the vital importance of a well thought out plan for extended care.
