Kyle "Protecting Families" Peters

Kyle "Protecting Families" Peters I am an agent protecting families in MI, TN & KY by providing unique supplemental insurance policies

One awesome thing about our policies is that they pay more benefits to customers compared to other companies when claims are filed. There are no lifetime limits on many of the benefits included in each policy. The BEST thing about our products is that after 25 years of paying into the policies, you receive your premiums back if you haven't filed claims!

Hi all, feels like summer is when I think to post an update from Prague. I hope everything is well in your world!

Today is when many Czechs leave for 1-2 week holidays because the kids are done with school. My mother was here in June for a week and here are some pictures of us, and some of my friends that I introduced her to.

Both my parents came last year but this time only Mom wanted to embark on another 11-hour flight (they are still in newly retired phase and were in Hawaii earlier this year). She stayed with me and saw my regular life in the city. Last time, they were in a hotel and mainly in the more touristy areas. I was grateful for our time together.

I am very much still enjoying living abroad. At times I think it would be easier to come home, but I want to do another few years and see how I feel then. The Czechs I meet think life is crazy in America...we all see the headlines. I defend the country and tell them it's more normal than it seems! But with each passing year I am that much more disconnected, so I often wonder what's going on myself. I listen to podcasts American and try to stay up on it.

So anyway, for now, wishing you all great summers:)

Hey all, it’s been almost a year since I posted, so I figured I’d post an update. Living in Prague the past 14 months has been a great experience. I have met many expats here and it’s interesting to hear their stories. I’ve met some Americans who have been here 7, 8, 11 years and they don’t plan to return home. Some have met Czech partners and are married, happily living here.

I also have met a lovely Czech woman named Lenka and we have been together for about 8 months. She decided to get a dog so that means I’m a dog dad now as well🐶

I networked my way onto 2 ice hockey teams and so I’m playing with Czech guys. Luckily almost all people here under 40 can speak pretty good English. My Czech still isn’t very good but it’s the 8th hardest language in the world. Many Czechs tell me “good luck” haha.

Work is good; we do sales consulting for companies and we have done work for startups all the way to working with sales teams at Google, TikTok, etc.

All in all, I’m happy here and I don’t plan to head back anytime soon. And I am
wishing you well!! May God bless you😀

Hello everyone, wanted to share a few pictures of this beautiful city and a few people I have met.

Prague is a city of about 1.3M people, which is a great size in my opinion. There is a large expat English speaking community here as well; one reason for that it's easier to get a VISA here than Scandinavian, Western, and Southern European countries.

I am enjoying building a network of friends here. Here I joined the ladies in our office to celebrate Veronika's birthday and the other photo is a mixture of Czechs and expats having dinner from the social group.

Also, if you are tech savvy enough to have Whatsapp on your phone, you could call or text me there on my Czech phone number +420 730 531 087 (no cellular charges for that). I'd love to hear from you. The company phone number is also on this page if you need that.

Hello favorites - big life update here!! After 7 years with Family Heritage, I am undergoing a career change. I am moving to Prague, Czech Republic and will be working as a sales consultant (doing workshops at companies, training their salespeople). I have always wanted to live in Europe and I found a way to do this with an affiliated company! I will be leaving in about a month and will likely have a different phone number. Any questions about your policy, please call the HQ and they'll take good care of you (440-922-5222). I have really appreciated the opportunity to get to know all of you and I will see if I can post a few updates here once in awhile. These policies are great to have and nothing is changing with your policy. You will have great people to help you at the office if you get sick and have to use it (hopefully never have to use it). Take care, and wishing you all the best!

A couple people I’ve talked to lately have said “(Person) wanted you to give them a call.” To which my mind thinks, “Why don’t they just call me when that crosses their mind?” In case you don’t have my number saved, it is 586-651-0018 and please let me know if you need anything. If it is something administrative, you will likely need to call Family Heritage/Globe Life HQ at 440-922-5222.

Hey everyone, I realized I hadn’t posted in awhile! This family lives in Benton County but owns a business in Ashland City, TN...the claim isn’t done yet, as there will be thousands to be collected for upcoming physical therapy, but I’m glad they were protected in the time of need.

Hey everyone! I had a chance to visit Charleston this past week, where businesses are open. Attached are some pictures from the trip.

I have been doing a lot of reading, cooking, playing (free) golf, working out at home, doing work calls on zoom, and finally watching some TV shows that everyone tells me I should have already seen. Truthfully, not much has changed for me. I have been enjoying the down time.

I am lucky enough to be able to work from home. I know not everybody is, and job loss is probably the toughest part for some American families to deal with right now. My heart goes out to those families. I do think there are some good things that will come out of this pandemic, though, and it’s important to focus on those. Some of the positive changes I see in my life and others’ are:

1. People are realizing how important friends and family are, and finding new ways to nurture those relationships.
2. Folks are realizing some things they really miss and also, probably more importantly, what they don’t/can do without.
3. We are realizing we don’t need to be as busy as we once thought and that down time is important. There is joy in simplicity.
4. Many are learning how to cook and that will make this country a healthier place.
5. Some are learning the importance of connecting with nature.
6. Many Companies are realizing that their employees can work from home just as successfully as in the office, leading to greater work/life balance for their employees going forwards.
7. People are learning the importance of having a 3-6 month emergency fund, and I think Americans will take that more seriously going forward. Hopefully Americans will spend less on “stuff” and instead choose to have a financial cushion. I think I speak for a lot of us when I say we’re all spending less than usual!

Those are Some of my thoughts lately. If you read this whole thing, I appreciate that. I hope that we all try to find some positives in this situation (I’m sure I missed some!). I believe that God has a plan, even if it’s hard to see what that is right now. May America and the world emerge from this pandemic stronger than before.

Love all of ya; talk soon. Let me know if I can help.

CORONAVIRUS PSA - Please share this friends & fam!
I want to be VERY CLEAR: I’m NOT attempting to capitalize on the fear of C-19 by any stretch… however, I feel I’d be doing all of my friends a great disservice if I didn’t at least mention that what I do for a living could potentially help you/your family out a LOT financially should things get “dicey”.
If you get COVID-19 (or anything else) and end up in the ICU, we pay $200-$1600/day (depending on the level of coverage you opt for).
This money is CASH, as it pays money straight to your bank account. It pays above and beyond any health insurance you have, that way you can continue to pay your personal bills, recover lost wages, and pay your deductibles.
You most likely pay more for your satellite/cable or cell phone bill than it costs to protect yourself and/or your family.
AND If you never end up getting sick or hurt (which is certainly “the plan”), we pay back 100% of your unused premiums.
Why not save for the future and protect yourself if something bad happens to you?
There is a sense of urgency on the matter as you would need to have the coverage before you get sick, and the application process takes literally 5 minutes and can be administered over the phone or a simple Zoom Meeting while we each stay safely at home.
Message me if you want info. 586-651-0018.

-Kyle

During this crazy time, I thought it would be good to remind clients that many of you have intensive care coverage. Your policy will pay anywhere from $150-$1,600 PER DAY, depending on your level of coverage. Not trying to scare anyone but hopefully it gives you some peace of mind that should any members of your household end up in intensive care from this virus, your policy will pay cash directly to your family.
