After more than ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐, itโs time for us to say goodbye to something that has become a pretty special tradition around our office.
For decades, our office has sold pecans and other nuts, and for roughly the past 15 years, those nuts have helped support our ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ. Year after year, you all have called or stopped by, placed your orders, stocked your freezers, bought bags for friends and family, and helped us turn a simple bag of pecans into something that made a difference. โค๏ธ
Unfortunately, the company that has supplied our nuts for all these years, ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ค๐๐ฒ'๐ฌ, has closed its manufacturing and distribution facility in Wrens, Georgia. The closure is the result of a number of challenges, including rising costs, tariffs, fuel prices and the devastating impact Hurricane Helene had on Georgiaโs pecan crop.
And with that, ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ง๐ฎ๐ญ-๐ฌ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฌ ๐ก๐๐ฏ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ง ๐๐๐.
It feels strange to even type that.
There have been ๐ ๐ณ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐
๐ต๐๐๐ through this office over the years. I won't lie, these nuts have made us feel completely Nutty at times.๐๐ฅ
But more than the nuts, weโre grateful for the people and memories that came with them. Weโre grateful for every order, every repeat customer, every fundraiser, every โCan you save me a bag?โ and every person who supported us simply because they knew it was helping a good cause.

Some traditions end because theyโve run their course.
This one ends because the source has disappeared.
But the memories? Those are staying right here with us.
