The first 18 years of my career I worked for Milliken and Company a world class textile and chemical company. Eleven of those years were spent leading manufacturing sites. The associates I led depended on me to make wise decisions, to assemble effective teams, and have their best interest at heart. In many ways, those work experiences prepared me to serve my clients today, whether they are an indi
vidual, a family, a small business, or a corporate entity. The second part of my story revolves around my experiences as a client with different investment firms. I had been a client of several large investment firms, banks, as well as a local independent firm. My goal was to learn and receive assistance in investing, as well as planning for my family's future needs. I desired a relationship with an advisor that would result in a well thought out financial strategy, frank communication about the tough financial decisions in life, and someone putting my family's financial interest first. I didn't find the care and service that I was looking for until I became an Edward Jones client. The third aspect of my story is that I grew up in the greater Clemson area. My wife and three children love the lakes, mountains, and Clemson as much as I do. I wanted a career to help families and businesses in the greater Clemson area and beyond. I became a financial advisor at Edward Jones to have the opportunity to provide the kind of care and service I was hoping for as a client. I haven't forgotten how it feels to sit in the client's chair. My pledge is to listen and understand what's important to clients.
