This time of year you see a lot of posts about Medicare. Every year I see one that says “There is no advantage to a Medicare Advantage plan. Stick with Original Medicare”.

Each persons health needs are different. It is not a one size fits all. Original Medicare might be the right choice for some people. A Medicare Advantage or Supplement plan might be best for some.

Medicare Advantage covers things that Original Medicare doesn’t cover such as dental, vision, and hearing. There is also a max out of pocket each year with a Medicare Advantage plan. Original Medicare has no cap on your cost.
