Some farms are killing w**ds with lasers now. Chris Rawley, founder and CEO of Harvest Returns, joined host Alex Perny to explain how it works: machine vision identifies the w**d, then a robot pulls it, a laser zaps it, or steam cooks it.
Fewer chemicals on the field means less runoff in the water, which is something Florida knows plenty about. Chris calls this agriculture's fourth revolution, after steam tractors, synthetic chemicals, and GPS.
