Recently, I had the pleasure of hearing Nancy Fahmy, Senior Director of Russell Investments, speak on women & investing. The news was groundbreaking and got me fired up!

I learned that women's #1 priority is their family, compared to men's being their retirement. Only 36% of women are investing compared to the 63% of men. Due to wage gaps, greater longevity, and being out of the workforce longer by caring for their families, it is crucial that women invest as soon as possible. Let's get more women investing!

Happy Friday! I wanted to share this joyful moment of mine.

Throughout my career, mentors and coaches have encouraged me to find my “why.”

Your “why” is what keeps you going on your darkest days. It’s what sparks the greatest joy in you. It’s what you grip on tightly to throughout this roller coaster of life. It’s your sense of purpose.

My why is to inspire change. It’s showing up for and supporting the people I love and care about. It’s cultivating experiences and memories that bring joy. So here’s a glimpse of my why, doing what makes me feel most alive–

I went on my nephew’s school field trip to the science center last Thursday. He called me a few days before to confirm I’d still be there and he was so excited he was nearly speechless! It means so much to me that I can be present for him and I know these are the moments he won’t forget.

Kids remember who show up. People remember who show up. And to me, that’s irreplaceable.
