Gateway Mortgage Company, L.P. began servicing mortgage loans throughout the State of Missouri in 1990. The original ownership group of Don Davis and Robert Chambers, along with 6 of the largest home builders in St. Louis, built a strong foundation of customers that continue to use Gateway Mortgage today. In 1999, Ryan Sandvoss and Jay Bader formed RJ Commercial Funding, Inc. (RJCFI); both were Loan Officers for Gateway Residential Group, a local mortgage company that was a former subsidiary of Gateway Mortgage Company, L.P. RJCFI then later acquired Gateway Residential Group and naming rights from Gateway Mortgage Company, L.P. filing with the State of Missouri to establish the current operating business named Gateway Mortgage. In 2013, Ryan Sandvoss has acquired sole ownership of RJCFI, thus Gateway Mortgage. He is committed to leading the company into a new era of growth and prosperity with a new image, website and modern marketing philosophy. Today

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits
• Act as a liaison between customers and financial institutions who assist qualified applicants acquire loans in a timely manner
• Review active loan files each day to determine if any documents are missing or what can be done to help the process along
• Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information
• Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• 3+ years' experience in the consumer loan industry
• Strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with computers and banking applications/software: Encompass
• Ability to work in a goal oriented environment

• Deep knowledge of direct/indirect lending products and practices

The FHFA announced new 2021 conforming loan limits for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, a 7.5% increase from 2020 and the fifth consecutive year of increases.

Buyer beware!!! Rates are NOT at 1.99% and for almost any homeowner this would be a terrible deal as your breakeven could be 10 years or more. Paying $15,000 OR MORE to refinance should be a crime, despite what certain lenders are promoting…🤬🤬🤬

Forbearance can be a great tool for those in need, but should not be abused. Interest is NOT forgiven, your payment can and likely will go UP at the end of the forbearance creating a serious cash flow issue and you're losing equity in your home. Not to mention the negative effects on the economy and real estate.
