Southern Shield Insurance Professionals, was founded in August of 2021 by Jamie Gay and Kate Gay. They live in Clayton, North Carolina for the past 15 years. As we live in unprecedented and ever-changing times, it is more important than ever to make sure you and your family’s assets are financially protected. With our knowledge and expertise, and over 35 years of combined experience, we are here to provide the best options for you at the lowest cost possible. Having a secure insurance plan in place gives you peace of mind in addition to protecting what matters most to you; whether it is your business/livelihood, your family’s income (life insurance) or your hard-earned assets (home, auto, camper, boats, etc.). As an independent agency, we partner with several companies which allows us to compare coverages and pricing in order to find a tailored solution to fit your unique needs. Our goal is to build a trusting relationship with our clients by providing friendly, timely and professional service while protecting you from the unexpected. We are located in Clayton, North Carolina and we look forward to serving the communities throughout North Carolina. Jamie Gay was originally from Massachusetts but grew up in Raleigh, NC. He is a dedicated father to his son and a loving husband of 21 years. In addition, he has 3 dogs that bring him much love and laughter. Outside the office, Jamie enjoys traveling and spending time with his friends and family. He is a passionate sports fan of Duke University, Washington Football Team and the Carolina Hurricanes.
