Flashback Friday to the 1950s!

As we celebrate 95 years of Altra, we're looking back at a decade defined by growth and leadership. During the 1950s, our credit union expanded to 2,470 members, reached $1 million in assets, and officially became Trane Employees Credit Union, making an important chapter in our history.

1950s:
• Led by Manager and President Larry Shrauner (1957 - 1991)
• Built the first stand-alone building owned by a credit union in 1959
• Slogan was: "Not for profit, but for service"

On Monday, October 13, 2025, Altra will host its 8th Annual Altra Gives Back Day!

All Altra offices and the Member Contact Center will be closed as nearly 500 employees nationwide dedicate the day to volunteering in our communities.
