💙 Giving Back to the Community That Gives So Much! 💙

One of the greatest blessings of JCBOR is being part of a community with such generous hearts! ❤️

At Wednesday’s General Board Meeting, we had the honor of recognizing the six amazing nonprofit organizations selected to receive proceeds from our 2026 fundraising efforts! 🎉

We were so grateful to have representatives from five of these organizations join us, share their missions, and explain how the generosity and support of individuals throughout our community make a difference in the lives of those they serve.

🌟 Our 2026 Fundraising Recipients:

* CASA
* Special Olympics Arkansas
* Sleep in Heavenly Peace
* Jesus in the Streets
* River Valley Child Advocacy Center
* Mission Youth Camp (not pictured, unable to attend)

Hearing firsthand about the incredible work these organizations do reminds us WHY we do what we do! Each organization serves our community in a unique and meaningful way, and we are honored to play even a small part in supporting their missions.

At JCBOR, we know that none of this would be possible without the generosity of our members, local businesses, sponsors, and the countless individuals who come together to support our fundraising efforts. When a community comes together, amazing things happen! 💙

To our nonprofit recipients, THANK YOU for the difference you make every single day. And to everyone who supports JCBOR and our fundraising efforts, THANK YOU for helping us give back to the community we are so proud to call home! 🏡❤️

Together, we are making a difference, one act of kindness at a time! ✨

🌟 Leadership, Learning & Community Connections! 🌟

Last week, five of our amazing members had the opportunity to participate in a two-day Leadership Johnson County event hosted by the Clarksville-Johnson County Chamber of Commerce!

🏡 REALTOR® Members:
Stephanie Arana, Brittany Pruett & Suzy Weldon

🤝 Affiliate Members:
Madison Nowotny & Justin Nowotny
Clarksville- Johnson County Chamber of Commerce

These five spent two days learning, networking, and exploring the many ways leadership and economic development help our communities grow!

📍 Their adventures included:

* 🏛️ A guided tour of the Arkansas State Capitol with State Representative Aaron Pilkington
* 📈 A visit to the Arkansas Economic Development Commission
* 🤝 A visit to the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce
* 🦆 A visit to the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission
* 🏙️ A tour of the Argenta District in North Little Rock to learn about the area’s economic development efforts and see how the district has grown and transformed over the years! And an impromptu stop at their historical museum.

Took a time out for a tad bit of antique shopping 🛒 🛍️🤭🤗

🎹 And the fun didn’t stop when the day was over! They wrapped up their first evening with a fun night of dueling pianos at W***y D’s, making memories and enjoying some well-deserved time together!

And of course, no great leadership trip would be complete without lots of coffee ☕, delicious lunches and dinners 🍽️, and plenty of great conversations along the way!

One of the things we love most about our members is their commitment to getting involved, building relationships, and learning more about the people, organizations, and opportunities that make our communities thrive.

❤️ We are incredibly proud to have FIVE of our members participating in Leadership Johnson County! Their willingness to invest their time in learning, growing, and connecting with other community leaders is something worth celebrating!

👏 Thank you to the Clarksville-Johnson County Chamber of Commerce for providing such a wonderful opportunity for our local leaders!

🏡 Community Spotlight: Van Alan Hill

This isn’t a campaign post. It’s a recognition post.

At the Johnson County Board of REALTORS®, we believe in recognizing members who take an active interest in the community we call home.

Today, we’d like to recognize fellow REALTOR® Van Alan Hill for his continued involvement in Johnson County and his commitment to being an active part of its future.

Van is currently a candidate for Johnson County Quorum Court Justice of the Peace, District 3, reflecting his ongoing interest in local government and community affairs.

Regardless of politics, we believe community involvement deserves recognition. Our members are more than real estate professionals — they’re neighbors, volunteers, business owners, and individuals who care about the place we all call home.

Thank you, Van, for your continued involvement in Johnson County!

This post is intended to recognize a fellow REALTOR® and is not an endorsement of any political candidate.

🌎❤️ Making a Difference Beyond Our Community! ❤️🌎

Today, we want to give a very special shoutout to our very own Stephanie Arana, who proudly serves on the Johnson County Board of REALTORS® Board of Directors! 👏

Stephanie had the opportunity to join in Guatemala on a mission trip with her church, giving her time and talents to serve others and make a difference! 🇬🇹❤️

When I asked about pictures from her trip, Stephanie shared, “I was translating in the medical side, the entire time so I don’t really have pictures 🤭”

And we think that says so much! 🥹❤️ She’s been busy putting her skills to work, helping bridge language barriers, and playing an important role in connecting people with medical care.

We hope Stephanie is soaking in every moment of this incredible experience, making memories, and enjoying the opportunity to serve!

Being a REALTOR® is about so much more than real estate. It’s about community, compassion, service, and making a positive impact wherever life takes you. 🏡🌎

We are so grateful for Stephanie’s servant heart, her willingness to give back, and her dedication to helping others, both here at home and beyond!

💕 Stephanie, we are SO proud of you! Thank you for representing the heart of service so beautifully!

🏡✨ Representing Johnson County at the 2026 ARA Convention! ✨🏡

We are so proud of Suzy Weldon, Crystal Harderson, Brittany Pruett, and Kami Escobar for representing the Johnson County Board of REALTORS® at the 2026 Arkansas REALTORS® Association Convention in Branson, Missouri, this September!

Three of these ladies serve on our Board of Directors, and we are incredibly grateful for their dedication, leadership, and willingness to invest their time in learning, growing, and bringing valuable knowledge and fresh ideas back to share with our members! ❤️

Of course, they also made it a point to track down some of our amazing Board Affiliate Members while they were there! 🤝 Be sure to check out the photos of some familiar faces!

Events like the ARA Convention are about so much more than education. They are about building relationships, strengthening connections, sharing ideas, and networking with fellow real estate professionals from across the state. Those relationships are invaluable to our industry and help make our local board even stronger!

👏 Thank you, ladies, for representing Johnson County so well! We appreciate your commitment to our board, our members, and the real estate industry!

📸 Enjoy a few snapshots from their time in Branson!
