Please join me in welcoming Celeste Winslow as our new Client Associate!

Celeste Winslow graduated with a degree in Economics and Environmental Studies from Sweet Briar College. From there she joined the Army as an Engineer Officer and served 7 years on active duty. Following her active duty time she went into the reserves and continues to serve as an Engineer Officer. She trained as a home appraiser for some time before working for a Defense Logistics Agency contract holder. She then decided to go back into real estate as a Realtor this time in order to have more time with family. Celeste is currently a licensed Realtor in North Carolina and Tennessee. As a new military transplant to Clarksville, she brings with her a husband who is still active duty military, a young daughter, two horses, two dogs, and two cats. She is excited to be joining Kennedy & Company, representing American National and Securities Management & Research, bringing her experience in real estate to the team.

It's probably a good time to revisit the entire list of Bob Farrell's market rules to remember -
1. Markets tend to return to the mean over time.
2. Excesses in one direction will lead to an opposite excess in the other direction.
3. There are no new eras – excesses are never permanent.
4. Exponential rapidly rising or falling markets usually go further than you think, but they do not correct by going sideways.
5. The public buys the most at the top and the least at the bottom.
6. Fear and greed are stronger than long-term resolve.
7. Markets are strongest when they are broad and weakest when they narrow to a handful of blue chip names.
8. Bear markets have three stages – sharp down – reflexive rebound – a drawn-out fundamental downtrend.
9. When all the experts and forecasts agree – something else is going to happen.
10. Bull markets are more fun than bear markets.
