I got called the Magic Man today.

LOL

Not because "now you see me, now you don't."

But because, often times, I have the ability to write some policies that others find difficult to find coverage. It is rare I can't write a policy or at least point someone in the right direction.

One aspect of our agency is we are solution focused. Sometimes we have to get creative, other times we just have access to more carriers than others.

Either way, isn't Talladega Nights such a classic movie? So many great one-liners.

Enjoyed the first day of April hearing from some amazing people in the home buying industry. Thank you Home Loans with Jacy for organizing and to TitleOne for hosting and the great espresso! It was awesome catching up with Lauren Dolcini - such an incredible professional.

The two things I took away were - the importance of professionals working together to help buyers and how creativity is often necessary for the buying process. These professionals know how to do that!

Home Insurance is part of that process and there are times I need to be creative when creating policies in order to get the right blend of coverage and price. Settling for the lowest price is not creative. It leaves buyers exposed - if you are a buyer, real estate agent, or lender and need help closing the deal, I'll help find that balance, maintain creativity, and get everyone to the closing table.

Same but different...

Why is this picture significant?

For the past 16 years as a college coach, I spent countless hours working in my office trying to find ways to lead young adults towards a better future.

I had a team chant that included, 🎶"With this coffee cup in my hand, I wanna be a Shaun Pohlman."🎶 Only now I drink tea😳...but I loved that chant 🤗

In my old office, you would often see a water bottle almost gone....inherently, my body would just stop drinking water bottles around this mark without thinking about it.🤦 During the busiest of times, like during camps, I might have 3 or 4 water bottles and all of them looked the same with just a couple gulps left.

Now I get to take the same grind of taking care of people, and it may look a little different .... but some things are still the same.

I made it through the first week of this new career and I love it!! I can help people with their future AND protect the life they've built. This is a life of purpose and service and I'm so grateful I get to add value to people's lives....even if it looks a little different from before.
