September is Corn Yield Contest month!! Drop off your biggest ear of corn at Midwest Crop Insurance office, Dekalb County Farm Bureau-Audrey Sweiger's office or outside the Maysville FFA building during the month of September to enter the corn yield contest!! Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd! For every cob entered each of the businesses will donate an item to the residents at Sunset Nursing Home! No age limit anyone can enter!! Help us support Sunset Nursing Home and find out who has the biggest ear of corn!

Did you have a new break on sod, pasture or hay ground this year?! If so, you NEED to go to the FSA office ASAP so we can have the farm maps!

Upcoming Deadlines:
June 15th - Report any cover crop acres to the FSA office to receive the $5/acre PCCP money!

July 15th - Acreage reports are due!
