The scholarship winners have been chosen! Huge congratulations to CC and Rodrigo for earning the Zach Armiger Student Athlete of the Month Scholarship! These two are great students, great athletes, and phenomenal representatives of what it means to be a Student Athlete at Damascus High School.

This is sure to be one of many accomplishments CC and Rodrigo will earn throughout their lives using the principles they have learned through high school athletics. CC and Rod exhibit discipline, dedication to their craft, resilience, and the desire to achieve big things!

Congrats to Maddie Powell and Antonio Iorio for being honored as the Damascus High School Student Athletes for the month of November 2025.

Maddie is a star field hockey player who hopes to continue her playing days at American University in DC!

The Zach Armiger State Farm Student Athlete of the Month will be awarded to one male and one female Student Athlete at Damascus High School.

Damascus High coaches and teachers will be selecting student athletes who exhibit great commitment on and off the field of play. At the end of the year, all Student Athletes who have been presented the Zach Armiger State Farm Student Athlete of the Month for the '25-'26 school year will be invited to enter a short essay as to how they have upheld their commitment to athletics, academics, and how they plan to continue doing so in the future. The winners will be awarded a $1000 scholarship sponsored by Zach Armiger State Farm.

Congrats to Sarah Jankowski and Cam Wilberding for being honored as the Damascus High School Student Athletes for the month of March 2025. Sarah is a star on the lacrosse field and plans to continue playing at the collegiate level. Cam plays center field and plans to continue his baseball career at Shepherd College.

Madison is a star in the classroom, the basketball court, and the lacrosse field. Madison plans to continue her lacrosse career at Wingate University! Rakai Participates in indoor track and is considering going to school at Syracuse University!
