Yesterday, The Davison Agency wrapped up another great year as classroom sponsors for Mrs. Hill’s 1st grade through the Clarinda Chamber program! 💙

The kids walked from Garfield Elementary to my office on 16th Street (and I’m sure a few people spotted our crew along the way 😊). Once they arrived, the fun began — painting flower pots, planting succulents, making butterfly clips, coloring the parking lot with hopscotch and tic-tac-toe, and enjoying snacks before heading back to school.

Programs like this are such an important reminder that communities work best when businesses, schools, and families support one another. Insurance may not always be the easiest business to understand, but relationships and community involvement have always been at the heart of my priorities. When local businesses invest in our youth, we help create a stronger future for Clarinda.

A special thank you to the three high school students who volunteered their time to walk with us and help with all the projects. Watching the “big kids” set an example of community involvement and kindness for the littles was one of the best parts of the day. 💛

I also can’t say enough about my mom, Erin Montgomery, and my mother-in-law, Pat Davison, for ALL their help throughout the year! They come to every visit, and I’m beyond blessed to have them alongside me.
