Keep your home safe as temperatures plumet! Here are some tips:

Key Temperatures:
32 degrees F Water Freezes
20 degrees F Pipes can start freezing, especially on exterior walls, in basements, crawlspaces or garages
55 degrees F or below indoors increases the risk for frozen pipes and damage

Reminder, the thermostat temperature is only the temperature at your thermostat. The actual temperature in cabinets, voids and other areas of the home may be significantly less.

Extra Protection:
Let faucets drip slowly during extreme cold
Open cabinet doors under sinks,
especially on exterior walls
Seal drafts and insulate exposed pipes
Disconnect outdoor hoses, shut off exterior spigots and drain any water in the line
