🚗Got a new driver in the family?

Getting a driver's license is a huge milestone - for teens AND parents!
Before handing over the keys, take a few minutes to talk about the expectations that come with them.

📱PHONES AWAY. No text or notification is worth the distraction.

🚦SPEED MATTERS. Getting there safely is more important than getting there quickly.

👥 PASSENGERS CAN WAIT. New drivers need time to build experience and confidence behind the wheel.

🌙 PRACTICE DIFFERENT CONDITIONS. Daytime driving isn't the same as driving at night, in rain, or in heavy traffic.

🔑 SET FAMILY DRIVING RULES. Decide ahead of time what's expected when they take the car.

And don't forget one more important conversation: call your insurance agent before your new driver starts driving so you understand what adding a driver may mean for your coverage.
