Oliver began his banking career as a teller at a credit union and quickly discovered a passion for learning how banks operate. He enjoys exploring the many departments that work together behind the scenes, especially lending, and appreciates the variety of opportunities for professional growth within the banking industry.

Samuelson brings 31 years of banking experience to Citizens Alliance Bank. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in agricultural, commercial, consumer, and residential lending, as well as branch management, deposits and investments, and customer service. His well-rounded background provides him with a strong understanding of the financial needs of individuals, businesses, agricultural producers, and the communities he serves.

As Vice President/Branch Manager & Loan Officer, Samuelson will be responsible for agricultural, commercial, and consumer lending, along with managing the Benson branch office. He looks forward to building relationships with customers and helping them find financial solutions that support their goals.

Originally from Hayfield, Minnesota, Samuelson graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Economics. He later earned his Master of Business Administration from St. Cloud State University in 2009. Samuelson currently resides in Benson.

Outside of work, Samuelson enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, golfing, biking, and watching his nieces and nephews participate in their activities. He and his wife, Michele, have three daughters, Katie, Anna, and Taylor.
