We are incredibly thankful for the teachers and staff at Clanton Elementary School and everything they do to help shape the next generation.

On Friday, we had the opportunity to cook and provide lunch for over 100 faculty and staff members as a small way to say thank you for the impact they make every single day.

We also couldn’t have done it without our amazing team, Hollie and Shawn, who worked hard behind the scenes to help make it all happen!

We are grateful to be part of such a great community!

If you’re on a Medicare Advantage plan, this is your reminder that Open Enrollment (Jan 1 – Mar 31) is your second chance to make a change.

Maybe you:
Missed Annual Enrollment
Picked a plan that isn’t fitting like you hoped
Found out your doctor or meds aren’t covered the way you expected

If something feels off, you don’t have to just “ride it out” for the rest of the year.

That’s what this period is for.

If you want someone to sit down with you, look at what you have, and explain your options clearly, we are here. No pressure. No rush. Just help.

If you’re comfortable where you are, that’s great.
If not, let’s fix it.

It’s officially November — Thanksgiving month!

As we step into this season, let’s take a moment to count our blessings. No matter what this year has brought, there’s always something to be thankful for — faith, family, and the gift of community.

This year, we’re giving away 20 fried turkeys to bless local families for Thanksgiving. We still have some availability!

If you or someone you know could use one, please send us a message so we can get you on the list.
It’s first come, first serve, and we want to make sure every turkey is accounted for before giveaway day.

No One in Chilton County Should Go Hungry…

We’ve just learned that due to the federal government shutdown, November SNAP (Food Stamp) benefits will be suspended across Alabama. That means no new benefits will be issued for the month of November, and we know this is going to be hard for a lot of families right here at home.

I don’t want anyone in our community to go hungry. If you or someone you know needs a little help with food this month, please reach out.
I’ll do my best to help — whether that means providing a meal, a grocery card, or connecting you with a local food bank or church that’s offering support.

There’s no shame in asking. We all need a hand sometimes. Let’s take care of each other the way Chilton County always does. 💙🧡
