I have been in the mortgage industry for 17 years. I started as a Home Equity Retention Specialist in 2003 with Wells Fargo Home Equity and moved on to being a Mortgage Loan Originator for Wells Fargo in 2006. After that I went to Bank of America as a Mortgage Loan Originator and now I have been with Academy for 7 years. What I like most about Academy is the small, local feel versus the big corporate banks I have worked with before. I like that Academy Mortgage takes great care of their employees on a personal level and offers great benefits and flexibility. For customers, I like that we have a wide variety of products and programs and the ability to help clients with almost any loan scenario. I have always liked lending because it is a way to help people reach their dream of home ownership or refinance into a better loan that saves them money so they can work towards their other financial goals and dreams.
