If we have discussed commercial insurance during my career, you have heard me say “I have a guy who happens to be the best commercial underwriter in the industry.” That would be Rob Baker. Through the years, Rob has gone with me on numerous inspections, completed a few without me, and spent more hours than we can count helping me with applications. During this time, Rob has become a mentor, a sounding board, a coach, and a friend.

Today Rob is stepping out of this role and into retirement. While I am excited for him, I will miss the calls, text messages, emails, and time spent working on policies and applications. I am better prepared for the next phase because Rob took the time to invest in me.

Rob, thank you for these last 15 years! I am a better agent because of you!!

It’s National Cow Day! Who knew it was a thing? We are proud to be a part of a company that built its foundation on the farming and ranching community. In case you didn’t already know… when I get to take the State Farm Agent Red Shoes off, I put on my goat judge shoes. Imagine my surprise when I see red sneakers ringside while judging a show. Of course the State Farm Agent pops out and asks for a picture of not one but two pairs of red sneakers. Even when I’m not here, I’m still a State Farm Agent!
