And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Although Americans live in an incredibly generous society, unlocking that generosity within the church is more difficult than ever. Roadblocks to generosity arise within individuals, from the world, and are even created by churches themselves. Below are some of the most common justifications people express for not being financially generous:

“The tithe does not apply to Christians today – just in the Old Testament”

“I am in debt and have lower income – I can’t afford to tithe”

“I give my time – that’s my tithe”

"I am uncomfortable with my understanding on where my money is going and if it’s having an impact”

Understanding these roadblocks and learning how to overcome them is key to your church's financial success!

“Thank you Infinity Team for consulting with our Hope Lives capital campaign! Our church had not been in a campaign for six years (the last one being $2.4 million dollars). Our 2018 comprehensive campaign was for $12 million, and we are already at 96% within eight months. In order to unleash our culture of generosity, we needed more analytics, prospect research, and focused relationship management. Infinity supported our leadership and volunteers with data analysis, accurate research, and timely services so we could confidently devise a workable plan. God has blessed our congregation with generous donors. We, as leaders, just needed the tools to release our fear and let God do His work through them.”

Untapped potential is one of the biggest challenges we see when it comes to giving. Imagine what could happen if you ignited passion within the financial leaders of your organization!

Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.

There are two key components to financial sustainability: operational excellence and strategic intentionality. While a ministry may be healthy with only one of these elements, combining the two unleashes powerful, God-sized results.

In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

Curious what we're all about? Check out our client testimonial below from Erik Anderson, Campus Pastor at Crossroads Church.

“The Infinity Giving team helped us grow out of adolescence in the way we handled and viewed our finances. They not only gave a fresh perspective on our financial processes and auditing framework, but they also educated us on how to cultivate a culture of financial leadership in our organization. Since beginning our partnership with Infinity, our church is able to confidently be transparent with our finances. I do not know where we would be without their wisdom and leadership. Oh, and our overall stewardship is up across the entire church!”

As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, and to be generous and ready to share.

Through our experience working inside ministries, focusing on both developing financial leaders, and creating intentional organization-wide giving strategies, we are able to move organizations beyond a reliance on episodic events to true long-term sustainability.

This process graphic represents the path we take to make that happen with our clients.

Creating a successful culture of giving begins with clearly tying your organization's accomplishments back to pathways and options for giving. It's important to be unapologetic and clear about mission and ministry accomplishments.
