Get ready for THCC's Annual Back-to-School & Community Day on Saturday, August 8, from 8:30 AM–3:00 PM at both of our main locations!

Help your child start the school year healthy, confident, and prepared, all while enjoying a fun-filled day for the whole family. This event is FREE and open to the entire community!

Children in attendance will receive:

Every child deserves to start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn. This July, you can help make that happen for students in our community.

We're proud to partner with JCPenney, who is generously providing the backpacks that will be filled with donated school supplies and distributed to local students at the Northwest Local School District Health & Safety Fair on August 5, 2026.

Here's how you can help:
🖍️ Donate new school supplies throughout the month of July at the Clippard Family YMCA.

Suggested donations include:
✏️ Wide-ruled spiral notebooks
📁 2-pocket folders
🖍️ Crayola crayons & markers
✂️ Kid-friendly scissors
🖍️ Colored pencils
🧴 Glue sticks
✏️ #2 pencils
🖍️ Yellow highlighters
📋 Black dry-erase markers
…and other classroom essentials!

💙 Bonus: We're also collecting classroom supplies like tissues, paper towels, disinfecting wipes, zip-top bags, pencils, and children's hygiene products to support teachers and classrooms.

Together, we can help local students walk into their first day of school with confidence and everything they need to succeed.
