The Guilford School Building has been part of Cincinnati’s architectural history since 1914. Today, it remains an important part of our campus.

After a recent restoration of the building’s Italian Renaissance-style roof, the project earned the 2026 Innovation & Craftsmanship Award through the Cincinnati Preservation Excellence Awards program.

From custom copperwork to structural repairs and improved drainage systems, the project reflects the kind of detailed craftsmanship required to preserve a historic building for long-term use.

Congratulations and thank you to the project team who helped preserve this Cincinnati landmark for years to come.
