Nope. It's not just you.

Insurance companies are taking a much closer look at the homes they insure.

An aging roof. Overhanging trees. Previous claims. The age of your home. Even where you live can affect whether a carrier wants to insure your property, renew your policy or what they'll charge.

Camargo works with multiple insurance carriers. If one carrier is no longer the right fit, we can look at other options and help you find the right coverage at a competitive price.

So if your insurance company is suddenly getting picky, maybe it's time to get picky about your insurance company.

Give Camargo a call. We'll help you explore your options.

Work hard. Play hard. And occasionally, settle things on the mini golf course. ⛳

The Camargo team traded insurance for a little friendly competition at Par 3 at Newport on the Levee , with our families joining in on the fun.

Days like this are a good reminder that the relationships we build here go beyond the office. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a great Camargo Family Fun Day!

We're celebrating Julie Roberts!
Nineteen years ago, Julie joined the Camargo Insurance family, and we've been lucky to have her ever since. Outside the office, you'll find her on a weekend getaway with family, out working in the yard, or at home with her two kitties and the people she loves most.

Thank you, Julie, for nearly two decades of dedication and heart. Here's to many more!

When should you file an insurance claim... and when might it make more sense to pay out of pocket?

It's not always as simple as "I have damage, so I'll file a claim."

Before filing, consider:

• How much will repairs cost compared to your deductible?
• Is the damage actually covered by your policy?
• Is there potential for additional or hidden damage?
• Does the situation involve liability or injuries?

And remember: you don't have to figure it out alone.

If you're unsure whether filing a claim makes sense, talk with your Camargo advisor first. We can help you understand your coverage and your options before you make a decision.

That was quite a storm yesterday! And it looks like Mother Nature isn't finished with us yet.

With more rain and storms in the forecast, please stay weather aware today.

If yesterday's tornadoes, high winds or flash flooding caused damage to your home or property:

• Take photos and video of the damage when it's safe to do so
• Take reasonable steps to prevent additional damage
• Keep receipts for any emergency repairs
• Have questions about whether to file a claim? Give us a call before you make that decision.

We're here to help you figure out the next step.

Stay safe and stay dry, Cincinnati!

We're hearing the same concern from more and more churches.

"Our insurance company isn't renewing us."

"Our coverage changed."

"We're not sure we have the protection we need anymore."

The insurance market for churches has changed significantly. Many congregations are facing non-renewals, higher premiums, or changes to important coverages like general liability and abuse & molestation protection.

The good news? A non-renewal doesn't mean you're out of options.

We've helped a number of churches throughout our community review their coverage, identify gaps, and often find stronger protection at a more competitive price.

If your church has recently received a non-renewal notice or you're simply unsure whether your current coverage still meets your needs, we'd be happy to have a conversation.

Think your homeowners insurance automatically pays for a brand-new roof? Not always.

Roof claims can be more complicated than many homeowners realize. Depending on your policy, factors like your roof's age, the cause of the damage, and how your policy settles claims can all affect what's covered.

Before the next storm rolls through, it's worth taking a few minutes to understand your coverage.

Our carrier partner, Insurance, put together an excellent guide that explains:

✔️ When roof damage is typically covered

✔️ Replacement Cost vs. Actual Cash Value

✔️ Why roof age matters

✔️ What to do if you need to file a claim

Questions about your own policy? We're always happy to help you understand your coverage before you need to use it.

Get the facts on how roof insurance works, what’s covered, and how claims and roof replacements are handled.

Fewer storms doesn't mean less risk. Forecasts may call for a quieter hurricane season, but insurance experts say today's biggest driver of claims isn't necessarily the number of storms—it's where they hit and how expensive it is to rebuild afterward.

The takeaway? Whether it's your home, business, or vacation property, insurance should be reviewed based on your current risks—not just the weather forecast.

Not sure if your coverage still fits your needs? Let's have a conversation.

Every referral has the power to make a difference.

Through our Camargo Cares Paying It Forward program, we donate to a local nonprofit each quarter based on the referrals we receive from our clients and friends.

We're excited to share that our Second Quarter 2026 recipient, First Baptist Church of Kennedy Heights, will receive a $520 donation to support the incredible work they do in our community.

To everyone who referred a friend, family member, or colleague this quarter—thank you. Know someone who could benefit from a conversation about their insurance? Your referral may help support our next Paying It Forward recipient.
