Ray was one of the first people who mentored me and believed in me from day one, 20+ years ago. I can express the gratitude and respect that I have for this man. He inspired me to dream big and chase my dreams. I have a ton of stories to tell, but here is the one that stuck with me the most. One day, as he was driving me home because my car broke down, we were having a great conversation, and I remember looking over at his wrist and seeing his Rolex. I said, "Wow, what a beautiful watch. How much did you pay for that?" He responded, and I remember saying, "Dang! How can anyone pay that much for a watch?" He also followed by saying, "One day you will have one, and better." That was one of the gifts Ray gave me - he taught me to dream big and have goals. It took me 12 years after that conversation before I was able to buy my first Rolex, but I did it! Today, we reunite to work together at the same company and continue to write our journey together. We all need mentors in our lives, and I was very lucky to have found Ray early on in my career. Simply grateful 🥹
