A very happy anniversary to Julie and I, the OG’s at BV State Farm! On June 1, 2007 I opened our Agency in downtown Chula Vista. Julie was by my side and has been since that day. She is my Agency ride or die. I wouldn’t be where I am today without Julie’s hard work and support! I am truly appreciative of her love, support and hard work. I look to many more years in Agency with her.

And, I’d be remiss if I didn’t also thank Wendy and Kat. Although they aren’t OGs, they’ve been with me many years and have contributed greatly to our success.

Finally, I’d like to thank all our customers. Obviously without you our Agency wouldn’t be where it is today. I appreciate your trust, support and loyalty to BV State Farm!!

Friends, family and policyholders, you’ve likely heard the news that State Farm will not be offering new homeowners, renters, condo and business policies (and a few others) in CA. You may be wondering why and how this will affect you.

Fist of all, we are still offering Auto Insurance, so you can contact my office for a quote.

If you’re already a State Farm customer with one of the policies we are no longer offering, you don’t have to worry. You aren’t being cancelled or non renewed.

However, if you’re a new homeowner looking for insurance, or need one of the other policy types, unfortunately we at State Farm won’t be able to assist you.

Like every business, State Farm is affected by market forces, and ultimately that is what has forced State Farm to make this decision.

As a proud State Farm Agent in our community, I’m saddened by this decision. As a small business owner I’m concerned about the impact this will have on my business and the lives of my team.
