Excuse the delay (life happens)! Our next feature is 4-year-old Robin-Wood Pacific Sunset SP, though she's never heard that name before in her life. This gal is the reason we have clips on the gates. She will gladly let the whole herd out of the pasture. She will find the most interesting thing in her area and play with it. Because of her distracted and goofy nature, she is affectionately called "Grogu".

Grogu is taking her time to mature, but we really admire the flashy style she brings to the show string. This year she got her first milking leg at the Fairbury, IL Fair. Her first daughter was 9th place intermediate kid at the 2025 ADGA Nationals. Rear udder in comments.

Our next feature is 4-year-old Robin-Wood Pipin' Hot NBN. Piper is a doe that we admire for her general appearance and for her willingness to milk, even though she sometimes does it at the expense of her body condition (silly goat!). I also want to apologize to anyone who has been, or will ever be a show with Piper in attendance; she is very vocal when her "mom" isn't nearby.

Today's feature is 5-year-old CH Robin-Wood Nala BJ. Nala is everything we're looking for in our LaManchas: strong feet and pasterns, a well-attached mammary system, and dairy strength. We also love her milk production, though we wish she had larger teats! Nala's yearling milker granddaughter exhibits a lot of these same traits. Stay tuned for her and our younger stock!

Today is an Oberhasli feature as we move down by age in our show string: 6-year-old CH Dreamy Sunset JDO Monsoon. Monsoon is Autumn's first Obe, and this gal has some pretty famous relatives! Her maternal grandmother Ignis was Reserve National Champion, and her maternal aunt was last year's National Champion. Monsoon has only given us two doe kids so far, but they are both beautiful and very competitive. Stay tuned for our yearling features to see them!

Monsoon is a very deep doe with a gorgeous rear udder. She will be bred to Ober-Boerd T Valentino (another Obe in our herd with a National Champion as a relative!).

Our next daily feature is 7-year-old Robin-Wood Lucy in the Sky. I love the overall length on this doe! Lucy exudes dairy strength while still being correct on her feet and legs. She also passes these traits on to her daughters, which we will post in the future (so stay tuned!).

Lucy is a full genetic sister to our feature yesterday, Kiss This. Tentative breeding planned to Autumn Acres Son of a Gun, owned by LS Acres.

This year we've focused on our son's graduation and other family events, so we haven't made it out to any of the out-of-state shows. However, we've been on the Illinois circuit keeping the girls show ready and competitive!

Here's our oldest in the show herd, 8-year-old Robin-Wood Kiss This QS. Kiss is well-balanced doe that is still strong on her feet and legs, along with a well-attached udder. Kiss has been placing 1st and 2nd (typically behind her cousin, Lucy) this season.

You know how most herds offer beautiful animals in the spring? Well, we didn't. Our family had the wonderful opportunity to visit Italy, and it was easier to find help that would take care of dam-raised kids and not have to milk, so all of the kids stayed. This year we were blessed with a DOE year. And not just any doe year, but a doe year with BEAUTIFUL kids.

Now that the dust has settled, we're offering these beautiful animals to you! Each one is either CAE negative or raised on CAE negative dams. Located in Chrisman, IL.

I know it's almost a week later, but I wanted to highlight our herd's results from the 2024 Illini Interstate Showdown. Thank you to the Illinois Dairy Goat Association for hosting a beautiful show, and a big thank you to Jake Bradford and Anna Crites for handling animals while Autumn Ellis was exhibiting her Oberhasli in the other ring.

**Rear udder pictures are in the comments section of each doe's picture. Make sure you check out that blonde doe - she's quickly becoming a favorite!**

Robin-Wood Jolt 7S (7 years old, 7 freshenings) completed received her third championship leg in one ring and picked up an insurance championship leg in another.

Robin-Wood Pipin' Hot NBN (2 years old, first freshening) was 4x 1st place, and 2x Best Udder of Breed (impressive for a first freshener!!). I also apologize to everyone who had to listen to her holler when I wasn't showing her. 😂

Robin-Wood Nala BJ (3 years old, 3 freshenings) was 3x 1st place.

Robin-Wood Lucy in the Sky (5 years old, 3 freshenings) was Reserve Champion in one ring on the first day. She refused to udder up and barrel out on the second day. 🤦‍♀️

Robin-Wood Nocello T (3 years old, 2 freshenings) was brought as an extra, but we had to get pictures of this promising chocolate doe!
