💧 Drinking water, MREs and Home Depot cleanup kits are available for those in need.

🔌 Come charge your devices, cool off, enjoy a meal, play a few games or simply relax and visit with friends!

We'll stay open longer if our community needs us!

💙💚 WCCOA IS HERE FOR OUR SENIOR COMMUNITY!

As Washington County begins recovering from the storm, we're working to reopen our doors and provide a welcoming place for our friends 60+, who may be without electricity or other necessities.

Our facility has power, and we're preparing to offer:

🔌 A place to charge phones and electronic devices

❄️ Air conditioning and a comfortable place to cool off

🍽️ A meal and drinking water

🥫 Shelf-stable emergency meals (MREs)

🧩 Activities, fellowship and a friendly place to spend some time

🏡 UNABLE TO LEAVE YOUR HOME?

If you are a senior in need of drinking water or emergency meals and cannot safely leave your home, please reach out. We will work to coordinate assistance and get these supplies to you as conditions and resources allow.

🎀 EARLY DETECTION MATTERS! 🎀

During this months Care Closet we will have a community event. This event will support Breast Cancer Awarenes.

One Step At A Time Inc. believes that caring for our community also means encouraging everyone to take care of their health. Regular breast cancer screenings can help detect breast cancer early, when treatment may be more effective.
We are excited to welcome the Jackson County Health Department to this month’s Community Care Closet! 💗

Representatives will be available with breast cancer educational information and resources to help our community learn more about the importance of screening and early detection.

Help support our community’s food pantry.

Every Tuesday and Thursday (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.), our food pantry serves Jackson County families in need, distributing roughly 7,500 pounds of food every month. Your donation makes that possible.

While we are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our partners, the need for non-perishable food continues to rise as more local families turn to us for help. To ensure our shelves stay stocked, we are focusing this month's collection efforts on high-priority items.

No donation is too big or too small—every contribution counts. Thank you for your generous support as we continue to do God’s work in our community! ✨
