Big reputation, indeed—these are some truly amazing people. 💖💜✨

HB Real Estate shows up for our community every day. And, whoa, they sure do know how to SHOW UP 🙌 for Alianza DV Services Inc.. From fulfilling a family’s wish list at the holidays, to hosting a shelter supply drive, to attending and promoting Alianza events, HB has emerged as one of Alianza’s biggest supporters. I’m eternally grateful for their generosity and kindness. 🫶

I’m so delighted to announce that HB Real Estate is a sponsor of the first-ever C***r Donut Dash. They’re also walking alongside me on the 💖 Swiftie Squad 💖, and they’re helping our team reach our fundraising goal. After we took this photo, everyone lined up at my car to take a lawn sign for their home. Truly awesome. 🥹

My HB peeps—I feel so, so lucky to be a part of your family. Thank you all so much for your constant love and support. 💜

Right now, the Swiftie Squad is at 44% of our fundraising goal! Please help us cross the finish line at 🔗 https://www.pledgereg.com/5930/Team/32568. Every donation is so appreciated. 😌

P.S. And, yea…they’re outstanding REALTORS®, too. The. Best. 💯✨

Such an awesome day canvassing for Team Whalen in 📍 Springfield’s Bay neighborhood with my girl Nicole Marie ☺️. I’m so so proud to support Jeromie Whalen—not only does he have a list of progressive solutions that I 💯% agree with, but he also won’t take money from corporate PACs. And, he shows up in our community every single day. 🙌

💖💖💖 Sometimes, when everything feels like way too much, I need to be reminded of my why.

July was a litany of sad days—and way-too-long, 18-hour workdays, because the world still turned even though I just wanted to sit still. Saying goodbye to Paisley devastated our little family, and Isla is so lost without her sister. Grief makes even the simplest things seem impossible. But, I barely had a moment to breathe this month. There’s so much to do. I’m exhausted.

And then, a few days ago, my friend Melanie Drewnowski posted about why she and her daughter Olivia are walking in the Alianza DV Services C***r Donut Dash.

I immediately cried—joyful, grateful tears. I felt energized like I hadn’t in weeks. I remembered my why. 😌

This is why all the effort is worthwhile. This is why volunteering matters. This is why talking about hard things like domestic violence matters. When we share our stories to shine a light on community resources and give our time and attention to nonprofits who are doing really amazing work, the right people notice, and the right people join us and start shining their lights too. Mel now volunteers every year—with our mighty little Serve With Liberty crew 💙—to clean up the shelter grounds. She’s also collected donations for the shelter residents and has done so much to support and show up for Alianza. She’s shining her light. It’s really awesome. ✨

Mel, Olivia, and the entire 💖 Swiftie Squad 💖 are walking in the C***r Donut Dash to raise funds and awareness for Alianza. I’m so so proud to be the captain of this fantastic team of domestic violence warriors 🙌. We hope you’ll support the Swiftie Squad and Alianza with a donation, or register to walk, run, or volunteer. 👟

What a beautiful evening with good friends at 📍 Bright Ideas Brewing celebrating democracy and supporting Whalen for Congress. ✨

Shoutout to DERS and their perfect setlist of Bowie, Zeppelin, Bill Withers, Steppenwolf, and everything awesome. 🤘🏻🎶

Jeromie Whalen is focused on solutions that make life better for *literally* every single one of us. And, he pledges to reject campaign contributions from corporations and corporate PACs—in other words, he won’t sell out. True integrity. 💙

Let’s rage against the machine together. Vote for Jeromie Whalen on Tuesday, September 1. 🗳️
