I was so young when I decided to open Masse’s Custom Cuts, and it has been one of the most significant accomplishments of my 20’s. Last year I decided my goals are beyond being a salon owner, and for the first time, I enrolled in college and have been working on my degree. My life has been busy. On top of my new ambitions, I've been a business owner, working as a driving instructor and a mother caring for my kids and their needs. With the sudden closure on non-essential business, I had hoped this would be a small setback, and we would continue operating after shutting down for a few short weeks. These weeks have turned into months, and due to the fluidity of this situation, the future became more uncertain. I took the time to reflect and had to make a decision that was in the best interest of my family. With a heavy heart, I'm announcing that I will not be re-opening the doors of Masse’s Custom Cuts. I'm so incredibly thankful for the support of all my clients, as many of you have become such amazing friends. Although my journey has ended, it is not the end for 5 Willow st. The salon will be re-opened as Kayla’s Hair Studio by a fantastic stylist you all know and love! She has the passion and motivation to continue her work as a stylist and new Salon owner, and I couldn’t be more excited for her! Its time for both of us to enter the next chapters of our lives. ❤️
