There’s no need to brush hairs up and hold to trim, just brush the hairs up and trim where they naturally sit. It’ll help avoid accidentally cutting too short and leaving holes or gaps💕

Ever feel like you fill your brows in but they don’t quite look defined? 🤔 you may be skipping this step!

Using a damp q-tip or doe foot applicator (what I’m using in the video) to clean up the edges of your brow shape will help sharpen and define them.

This step is easiest closer to your brow shaping appointment when there’s not as many hairs surrounding your brows.

But this technique can be applied any time with any brow makeup used. I love utilizing it with fiber brow gels most!

One other tip? Make sure you’re blending your brows out! It’s the easiest way to soften them and make them look full and natural.

The amount of times I’ve heard “omg I’m so glad I found you, it’s hard to find good threading” from a new client blows my mind.

Threading should be as accessible as waxing. But for the decade I’ve been in the esthetics industry it falls short.

I wish more brow artists offered threading or at least added threading to their menu alongside waxing. (Which would help them service more clients 👀)

But most often I hear from other artists, “I don’t have any clients who want threading” — but that’s only because you don’t offer it.

There’s a huge market for threading and it’s only growing. With other beauty services, skincare routines, and lifestyles that contradict waxing.

Threading isn’t just a great addition to any artists menu, but something that will help them stand out. Highlighting your expertise✨

I always say threading changed my life, which it did. But you know what else it did? 👇🏻

It helped baby esthi me fall in love with brows. It helped me see them in a different way. It made me truly SEE them and how they can be adjusted to look their best.

I had an esthetics instructor tell me we’d develop an “eye” for things. I couldn’t understand what she meant until I found threading.

You can see from the photo above that even as I’m actively threading the thread shows me the line of the brow. It’s a constant “mapping” remainder if you will.

It allows me to check the shape and symmetry as I go. Without wasting even a second of my time. I’m able to ensure my clients desired look without skipping a beat.

It’s how I shape, map, and even tweeze below the skin hairs. When I say threading does it all— I actually mean that. Plus, it works for ALL👀
