📣📣The Dream Program phase two is getting started! Here is what we know: 📣📣

1. CalHFA will make this program available to first time home buyers and at least one borrower will need to be a first-generation homebuyer. The definition for this from CalHFA is below.

2. CalHFA will be running this as a lottery system. Client will need to get pre-approved with a lender and we will be on standby to assist.

3. Once pre-approved clients will then apply through the CalHFA website for their chance to participate in this program (we will walk the client through this step-by-step). Once they are chosen via lottery, they will have an opportunity to go house shopping. There is a time period where the client will have to locate a home, so they are not rushed like the last time this program was rolled out. (Last time this program ran out of funding reservations in 6 business days)

4. This program will go live in spring with a target launch date of April 2024, but it is important to be pre-approved as ready for this launch. Reservations will start opening in April.

5. This program does have an income limit of $145,000 for Butte County, $142,000 for Shasta County, and $180,000 for Placer County.
