Congratulations to Jennie on her new condo! She put a plan together a long time ago and never gave up and she is now seeing the fruits of her labor! She was able to negotiate a great price below list WITH seller credit, our appraisal came in above our contract price, and we were able to get her a rate in the 3’s with a 2/1 buydown.

Huge s/o to Michael Barajas on the negotiations! Another successful transaction in the books.

Inflation numbers came in cooler than expected for the second month in a row so MBS prices are improving this morning which is good news for mortgage rates!

The Bureau of Labor Statistics released its November Consumer Price Index (CPI) at 8:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday. Here are the main figures from the report, compared to Wall Street estimates.

Rates have been improving the last couple weeks & today we saw a big swing in the right direction!

There are 3 options if you're apprehensive about buying because of rates right now:

1. If they go down - you can refi and lock in that lower rate.
2. If they go up - you're protected and happy you got in when you did.
3. They stay where they are - you still win since you were able to negotiate a better price/seller credit/repairs etc. while prices rise.

Inventory is about 10% lower than last year in our region so get out and use this market to your advantage!
